2002 - The first official shire meeting was held

Original members included Baron Michael De Multon, Lady Viviana Fiorentina, Lord Theodoric Ironhelm, Lord Hadrianus Rufus, Lord Calum Greycastle, Wrenne of the Meadow, Zenobius (if anyone is missing, please contact our Webminister

Name of the Shire was Viridian Forge,

Name rejected - changed to Flintmarsh

April 2007 - The decision was made to rotate the location of our monthly business meetings between Bainbridge, Dothan and Marianna.

May 2007 - Bylaws drafted

July 2007 - Cigan Oszinte took A & S office

September 2007 - Lord Michael de Multon has been appointed Baron of the Meridien Court - Lord Calum of Greycastle stepping down from position of Seneschal. Grimmarr Iverson is now new Seneschal

October 2007 - Additional ZIP codes approved to include Ozark, AL; Enterprise, AL; Marianna, FL; Chipley, FL and everything between. We are now one of the (if not the) largest shire by area in the Kingdom.

November 2007 - The Shire attained permanent status

December 2007 - Due to unforseen circumstances, Grimmarr Iverson is unable to hold position of Seneschal. Lady Viviana Fiorentina stepping in to office.

12-08-2007 - First Shire Yule celebration in Brinson. GA. First "Game Of The Year" - Nine Man Morris. Lord Teodoric Ironhelm won the Shire Champion Tournament and Lord Calum Of Greycastle was awarded the "Silver Boar" for service to the Shire.

January 2008 - Lady Rose Wynter took office of Exchequer

May 2008 - Lord Theodoric Ironhelm fought in Crown Tourney

12/06/2008 - Second Shire Yule celebration in Kynesville, FL. "Game of the Year" - Five Field Kono. THL Baron Michael de Multon won the Shire Champion Tournament, Lady Cigan Oszinte was awarded the "Silver Boar" for service to the Shire and Lady Katharina Von Rabensburg received the "Mane of Gillenbursti" (or Gilded Bristle) for Arts and Sciences.

03/27/2009 - Current website was launched.

04/01/2009 - MicEal MacConchradha taking office as Marshal.

July 2009 - Lady Cigan Oszinte stepped down from the A & S office and Lady Katharina took the position.

12/05/09 - Third Shire Yule celebration in Dothan, AL. "Game of the Year" - Fox and Geese. Lord Kelet won the Shire Champion Tournament, Lady Viviana Fiorentina was awarded the "Silver Boar" for service to the Shire and THL Michael de Multon received the "Mane of Gillenbursti" (or Gilded Bristle) for Arts and Sciences.

03/04-03/06/10 - The Shire had its first event "Baba Marta". It was held at Compass Lake in the Hills, in Alford, FL. Lady Katharina was the Autocrat, Lady Viviana took the position of Reservationcrat, and Lady Rose did an outstanding job as the Feastcrat. Baron Charles organized the classes and Lord Graelant was responsible for the site. It was a great success and the attendance was around 100 people.

July 2010 - There was a great shift in officers that month. Lady Viviana stepped down from the Seneschale position and Lord Andreas volunteered to take over. MicEal MacConchradha is no longer able to hold the Marshal's office. Lord Graelant took the position and Lord Kelet volunteered to take the Herald's office.

12/05/10 - Fourth Shire Yule celebration at Baron Olaf's house. "Game of the Year" - deck of cards handpainted by members of the Shire. Lord Graelant won the Shire Champion Tournament, he was also awarded the "Silver Boar" for service to the Shire, and Lady Rozani received the "Mane of Gillenbursti" for Arts and Sciences.

03/05-03/07/11 - "Baba Marta II" was a success. We were honored to host the Meridian Heraldic and Scribal Symposium and had about 97 attendees. Lord Graelond was the Autocrat, Lady Viviana the Reservationcrat, Baroness Graidhne volunteered for the Feastcrat position. Even though we were under a tornado watch and the feast was held in a tent, we had a lot of fun and many positive comments from the guests.

12/4/11 - Fifth Shire Yule Celebration at McCormick Lake. "Game of the Year" - Alquerque. Matthew McTier won the Shire Champion Tournament, Lord Graelant was awarded the "Silver Boar" for service to the Shire, and Stewart Fletcher received the "Mane of Gillenbursti" for Arts and Sciences

March 2013 - Lady Katharina took the office of Chronicler

03/03-03/05/12 - We had really bad luck with the weather at "Baba Marta III". It rained 7+ inches over the course of 24 hours. Still, we had an attendance of 85 people, and everybody had a good time. With a few adjustments, most classes were held on schedule and Stewart was determined to hold an archery tournament (come hell or...). Lady Katharina was the Autocrat, Lord Andreas the Reservationcrat, and Lady Anthoinette did a great job with the feast that had to be relocated due to the fact that the tent collapsed (luckily before the feast). "The best rained-out event ever" was a comment heard more than once (from everyone except the staff).

April 2012 - Lady Viviana took the office of A & S Officer

04/07/2012 - Baroness Graidhne took Lady Katharina and Lord Andreas as proteges

07/20-07/22/12 - We had our first Kingdom Level Event by hosting the Royal University of Meridies on the Troy Campus in Troy, AL. Baroness Graidhne was the Autocrat, Lord Andreas the Reservationist and poor Lady Anthoinette was called upon to do the feast...again. We had a major last minute change in venue, but a major panic was avoided and the event was a success with the 200 attendees and attending Royalty (all 4), however due to issues with the University, we decided not to hold another event there again.

August 2012 - Due to unforseen circumstances, Lord Graelant can no longer hold the office of Marshal and Lord Cianán Carmichael took the office

October 2012 - Baroness Graidhne took the office of Seneschale

11/02-11/04/2012 - Panhandle Skirmishes was our 3rd event this year. Lord Andreas was the Autocrat, and Lord Cianán was the Reservationist, no feast was offered. This was our biggest event this year. The weather was perfect and We had over 200 attendees. The "castle" that was constructed earlier this year by some of our shire members was a great success. We even had Royalty from both Meridies and Trimaris present and Her Meridien Majesty received a Lion d'Or from Trimaris for bravery on the field by refusing to yield to an overwhelming Trimarian force. A great day, indeed.

12/02/2012 - Sixth Shire Yule celebration at McCormick Lake. "Game of the Year" - Mancala; Cianán Carmichael won the Shire Champion Tournament, Lord Andreas was awarded the "Silver Boar" for service to the Shire, and Lady Katharina received the for Arts and Sciences recognition. A special recognition was created for two very special Shire members who went way above and beyond in the kitchen. The "Golden Ladle" was presented to Lady Anthoinette and Lady Rose.
